Detroit tops Chicago 40-32

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago came into Detroit looking to 4-0 for the first time since 2006 but it was not to be. Chicago played there worst game of the season. It started with a muffled punt catch by Devin Hester and just spiraled down from there. Chicago Quarterback Jay Cutler threw 3 interception and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown by Detroit. Chicago looked out of sync the entire game offensively defensively and special teams. But every once in  a while you need to get your but kicked to refocus Chicago is 3-1 tied for first in the NFC North. As bad as Chicago looked its only one game and there mistakes are very correctable. Chicago will be looking to rebound this Sunday vs the New Orleans Saints who are 4-0 after a 38-17 win over the Dolphins  Bear Down Chicago.

Bleacher report confirms Bears DT Henry Melton torn his ACL and is out for the season. We wish him a speed recovery get well soon Henry Bear Down.

Bears over come Steelers 40-23

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago Bears came into Pittsburgh Sunday Night looking to start 3-0 for the first time since 2010. Chicago toke a early 17-0 lead after the first with Touchdown run by Matt Forte and Michael Bush as well as a 47 yard field goal by Robbie Gould. Chicago also forced a turnover on there first defensive series of the game. Chicago continued its Defensive ways all night causing 5 turnovers and scoring 2 touchdowns on defense by Major Wright and Julius Peppers. Pittsburgh came back with 2 Touchdowns to Antonio Brown to make the game close a 4 point game. Then Mr.4th Quarter does what he does lead a late drive to close the game, which included driving his shoulder into a defender to pick up a critical first down. And a amazing Touchdown throw to Earl Bennett, followed by a Julius Peppers Touchdown on defense to close the game for Chicago 40-23 over Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears are 3-0 for the first time since 2010 in 2010 Bears made the playoffs and made it to the NFC Championship game before losing to eventually Superbowl champion Green bay Packers. Bear Down

Mr.4th Quarter

By Joseph Zalewski

When ever you win in the National Football League its huge, but whats even huger is beating two playoff teams to start the season. This is exactly what our Bears have done beating both the Bengals and Vikings  both playoff teams last year to start the 2013 campaign. In dramatic fashion in both games Jay Cutler lead the Bears in the 4th quarter to win those games. Leading Brandon Marshall to give Cutler the name of Mr.4th Quarter. Jay Cutler was 27/28 and threw for 292 yards 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Jay Cutler did make mistakes in that game but made up for those mistakes later in the game by leading the Bears down the field and scoring the game winning touchdown to Martellus Bennett for the win. Bears travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. This is going to be a true test for them facing a 0-2 team in a must win situation. Can Mr.4th quarter lead the Bears to a 3-0 start we will see on Sunday night under the bright lights Bear Down.

Bears top Bengals 24-21

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago had alot of questions coming into the season opener like would jay get sacked, how is the o line, and how will trestman do are just a few. Yesterday all questions were answered with a 24-21 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The offensive line did not give up 1 sack the entire game a big improvement from last year. Chicago's Defense came up with 3 takeaways two by Charles Tilman interceptions. Setting up a amazing Martellus Bennett Touchdown catch his first catch as a member of the Chicago Bears. Chicago also had touchdowns from Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall along with a 58 yard field goal from Robbie Gould his career long. Topping the Bengals in the season opener after the game Lance Briggs presented new Head Coach Marc Trestman with the game ball. Next week Bears host rival Minnesota Vikings a noon start lets hope our Bears can advance to a 2-0 start Bear Down.

The Cutler Marshall connection

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago was down 21-10 in the 3rd quarter after a Forte Touchdown run it was 17-21 heading into the 4th quarter. Who does Cutler look to win the game Brandon Marshall of course. Jay Cutler was spreading the ball around but Marshall still had 8 receptions for 104 yards and the game winning Touchdown, in route to a 24-21 win. The Cutler Marshall Connection is unreal these guys just have a great chemistry, they are picking up where they left off last season. Last season Marshall had 118 receptions for 1,508 and 11 Touchdowns I dough he will have as big of a year with Cutler spreading the ball around but i still say he will get at least 1,000 yards. Either way the big question is can the Cutler Marshall connection take the bears to the playoffs? we will soon find out Bear Down.

Forte big part of Bears Offense

By Joseph Zalewski

This offense starts with Matt Forte. Chicago tried setting up the run early and often with Matt Forte and Michael Bush. Forte was very close to breaking a few runs but was stopped by that very good Bengals front 7. Forte had 19 carries for 50 yards and a Touchdown. Michael Bush had 6 carries for 15 yards. As were seen in preseason Forte is going to be involved in the passing game as well and he was he was targeted 6 times had 4 receptions for 41 yards. Forte also picked up one of the biggest plays in the game a 4th and 1 forte need 1 and got 8. Also forte had some nice blocks to help protect QB Jay Cutler. So it is clear if this offense is to get going it goes threw Matt Forte Bear Down.

Tilman shines in Opener

By Joseph Zalewski

Anyone who watched yesterdays Bears Bengals game had to give huge credit to Charles Tilman who had two huge interceptions in route to a Bears 24-21 victory. This guy is just amazing in the photo above is one of his interceptions. Tilman the leader of the Bears secondary. Chicago's secondary caused 2 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles. Clearly even without Lovie Smith the Dears Defense is still a very good squad. Next week will we see Tilmans Peanut Punch? Bear Down

Trestman Cutler working early

By Joseph Zalewski

The Marc Trestman era began yesterday in Chicago, and what a way to start. Trestman an offensive genius was brought in to help the offense and from yesterday performance I say its working. Cutler targeted 5 other receivers not named Brandon Marshall. Those other receivers totaled up for 138 yards and 1 Touchdown. Not only was Cutler spreading the ball around but his decision making was spot on. Which is something he has need to work on in past year. Not only was his decision making spot on he also had a few nice runs to put the team in good situations to pick up first downs. Jay Cutler completed 21 of the 33 passes yesterday, along with 242 passing yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception and a quarterback rating of 93.2. Not bad for a new offense hope to see them get better each week Bear Down.

Bears Finally start fast

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago was looking to do one thing Friday night and that's start fast offensively, and did they ever. Jay Cutler was a field general on a mission Friday night going 12 for 21 with 142 yard passing and 1 TD, but was was more impressive was how he was spreading the ball around. Also Cutler was not sacked once last night and had alot of time to throw the ball. Chicago's leading receiver was 2nd year man Alshon Jeffery who had 7 targets for 77 yards clearly Jeffery is going to be the number two receiver behind Marshall. Matt Forte also had a huge night looking like he was in mid season form, Forte had 6 rushes for 76 yards and a TD. Michael Bush also has a very productive night with 10 rushes for 19 yards and two TD. Defensively Chicago came out strong once again picking off Matt Flynn twice and Charles Tilman even sacked Matt Flynn. Chicago's defense forced 4 turnovers and had 3 sacks on the night, if Chicago can play great in all 3 phases like they did last night it not hard to believe they can not only make the playoffs but can  go far in them as well Bear Down Chicago.

Rookie LB Jon Bostic Fined?

By Joseph Zalewski

Rookie Jon Bostic is making a huge impact and a great start to his NFL career. From his pick 6 vs Carolina in week 1 of the preseason or from his monster hit in week 2 of the preseason. It is clear he is making an early impact and making a clear case to be the week one starter. But was his hit illegal, that is the question raised today when Bostic was fined 21,000 by the NFL. In the picture below the highlighted area is where Bostic made contact and you can clearly see it was near the chest area and should not be fined. This is the official rule that Bostic got fined on Rule 12, Section 2, Article 7 (b) (2), it is prohibited to lower the head and make "forcible contact" so according to that rule Bostic should be fined. But in today's NFL Defensive players are always at fault its almost to the point where they can not even touch these Offensive players.

Here's the Video you be the judge should this hit be a fine I say according to the rule yes it should be a fine but, I strongly disagree with the rule so I say In today's NFL that's the cleanest hit you will see he should not have been fined Bear Down Bostic.

Camp Trestman

By Joseph Zalewski

A new era in Bears football has begun the Marc Trestman era. Bears first training camp without Lovie Smith and Brian Urlacher kicked off yesterday. The feel of training is so different compared to years past. Trestman runs a very fast paced style of practice. If you make a mistake he will let you know this guy has such a passion for the game. And so many moving parts to this Offense its gonna be fun to watch. Bears were throwing alot of there new TE Martellus Bennett. Also they are getting Matt Forte more involved in the passing game. Well  that's all for now Bear Down .

Ellis give Chicago depth on D-Line

By Joseph Zalewski

Welcome the newest Chicago Bear Sedrick Ellis. Ellis has played his entire NFL career for the New Orlean Saints. He was the 7th overall pick in 2008. Clearly this is depth move by Chicago this move will help that D- Line stay fresh by rotating guys in and out like they did last year. Ellis is by no means a starter on that D line at best a guy you can rotate in and out. But another great move to fill a roster spot by Gm Phil Emery. Lets see if Ellis can help Chicago get to the QB like they have in past years. Welcome to Chicago Sedrick Ellis Bear Down.

Devin is back Chicago

By Joseph Zalewski

On Monday Chicago signed a couple WR one of them was Devin Aromashodu. He played for Chicago back in 2009 and made a great OT catch to win the game VS Brett Farve and the Vikings. So Welcome back to Chicago Devin, but sadly I think they just brought these WRs in for training camp. I highlight dough Devin will make the final roster but hey when you make plays like this who knows. Bear Down

Chicago says goodbye to Gabe Carimi

By Joseph Zalewski

It was very obvious from the start that Gabe would not be back in Chicago. All the signs were there not showing up to OTA's with a new coaching staff. Working out in Arizona by himself it was clear that Gabe had made a choice. So late Sunday Night it was reported that Gabe Carimi had been traded to the Bucs for a 6th round pick. Is this shocking no not at all not showing up to OTA's was a clear message to Chicago management. But something that is interesting s that every single one of Jerry Angelo's first round pick are no longer with the Bears. Gabe was a typical Angelo pick a guy who you though would be great but never really worked out. Plus add in the fact that he had some knee problems that prevented him from staying on the field. Still we wish Gabe Carimi good luck with the Bucs. Bear Down

Bears have had enough Rodriguez

By Joseph Zalewski

On Monday Chicago Bears have decided to part ways with Fullback Evan Rodriguez. After Rodriguez second arrest of the off season Chicago had enough. Let that be a lesson to any NFL player what you do off the field could cause you to lose your job. We wish Evan nothing but the best in his future. Bear Down

Alshon Jeffery ready for a Break out year

By Joseph Zalewski

A picture is worth a thousands word and this one says alot. Alshon Jeffery Chicago's  2nd pick in last years NFL Draft. Alshon was the reciever opposite Brandon Marshall this picture above is Alshon's most memoriable catch from last year.  A 42 yard Touchdown catch in the season opener vs the Colts here take a closer look at this amazing catch.

Saddly the rest of the season Alshon has limited production due to injury and had a few costly drops as well. But is here primed to have a break out season this year? Every season in the NFL there are players who you dont expect to have a great seasons, but do aka the break out player of the year. I would but money down that Alshon could be someone who has a break out year. Alshon's chemisty with QB Jay Cutler has gotten really good this offseason since, Brandon Marshall was sidelined until Tuesday with a minor hip procedure he was healing from. There for Alshon has been getting most of the target that Marshall would get in OTA's. And even made an amazing catch in OTA's this past week a Brandon Marshall like play. So it is clear that if he can stay on the field teams will have more to deal with then Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte don't believe me watch the video above or check out this video from OTA's and Bear Down.

The NFL has decidied to move the 2014 NFL Draft back two weeks so instead of taking place in April it will now take place May 8-10 so you two more weeks to study the draftee. This is also cause the NFL is having a confilct with scheduling issues with the radio city music hall. Bears to Retire Ditkas Number 89

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago Bears have announced that on December 9th on Monday Night Football the Bears will retire Mike Ditkas number 89 jersey.  This is something that has been coming for a while now Ditka was one of the all time great Tight Ends in the game. Most people forget he was a player before he was Da Coach. Ditka was a very dominate Tight End for Chicago with 4,503 yards, 316 receptions and 34 touchdown catches. This is a great show of respect and class shown by the Chicago Bears organization. So congrates to Mike Ditka on getting your number 89 jersey retired no one wore that number better then Mike Ditka.

Urlacher A Great 13 Years

By Joseph Zalewski

Times change and players come and go, and though the memories may fade, Monsters never die thanks for doing us proud. As most of you know our guy Brian Urlacher has called it quits after a 13 year career all of them with our Chicago Bears. It has been 5 days since he made that annoncement via twitter. As a fan of the Chicago Bears it makes me sad but happy that he only played for us. The one thing I have said about Brian since hearing about his retirement is this. Brain you made us proud to wear the navy blue and orange and  proud to wear the number 54 you made our city proud I just wish we could have got you a ring. Brain was a kid at heart out there he will go down as one of the best in Chicago Bears in history he was the heart of soul of the Bears. With that being said after 13 years Brain take a well deserved break you earned it Chicago loves and is going to miss you. Bear Down Brain

OTA Drama

By Joseph Zalewski

OTA drama has been the story for the first week of OTAs. Since Chicago has a new coaching staff in place not showing up to OTAs is a bad first impression for the new coaches. Which is exactully what Chicago Bears Offensive Lineman Gabe Carimi had done. Gabe has had a history of leg and knee problems and is still rehabing his knee in Arizona and has decided to work by himself in Arizona. OTAs may be voluntary but, I really do think Chicago may be getting ready to release Gabe. If we know anything its that Phil Emery is serious about building a winning team and is not playing around. So if Gabe is not a team player and decided it is in his best interest to work by himself then so be it just add another name to the list of 1st rounder busts for Jerry Angelo. We will just have to wait and see what Chicago does is Gabes days in the Windy City numbered?

Break Down Jonathan Bostic

By Joseph Zalewski

With the 50th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the Chicago Bears select Jonathan Bostic Linebacker Florida. Bostic has played with Florida from 2009 to 2012 playing in 32 games for the Gators. In those games he has recorded 237 tackles 7.5 sacks and 5 interceptions. Bostic has somethings when I looked at film that made me think this kid is gonna a star and other that he needs to work on. Lets break down Jonathan Bostic. Pass Rusher this kid is a very good pass rusher he has had more sucess rushing on the edge then straight up the middle. Run Defense this kid is very good aginst the run, but one thing the concerns me is he get held up by linemen alot on the run. In coverage his coverage is something he needs to work on some plays he is very good other plays the guy who he was covering goes for a positive play. Film Study this kid has a natural ability to diagnose a play and be the right place to make a play. His pursuit of the ball is very good I mean he could be a little bit more aggressive on his pursuit but that is something that comes with time. He is a very aggressive and physical football player.  My personal take being along side Lance Briggs is gonna help him big time with the coverag,e and the pass rushing up the middle this kid is gonna make mistakes all rookies do. Thats part of the NFL but bottom line having this kid on the Chicago Bears makes them a better team. I Like the pick and it help with the depth at Linebacker and who know he could be a starting Linebacker for Chicago this year.

Break Down of Kyle Long

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago Bears with the 20th overall pick in this years NFL Draft selected Kyle Long. To me it seems like Chicago has drafted a project in the 1st round once again. Kyle has had a troubled past with a DUI in 2009 and leaving college and has only played 10 games in Division 1 football at Oregon. It is very clear Kyle is a project but just because he is a project is not a bad thing. Kyle is a freak athlete he is 315 pound he is 6'6 and threw a 90 mile fast ball in baseball this kid is a beast. This kid has such a high ceiling which makes him worth the risk. He has not played alot of football and lacks experiance. But that also means his body is not banged up, like say a Gabe Carimi who was injured coming out of College. Kyle can be groomed into a great Offensive Line man hopefully one who can protect Jay Cutler. All I have to say to all the Bears fans who dought the pick is lets see him in camp and on the field, cause until then its all just speculation. Kyle could be the best thing to happen to the Bears or just another wasted pick we will just have to wait and see, Bear Down

Chicago Bears 20th pick is Kyle Long

By Joseph Zalewski

Chicago Bears with the 20th pick selected Kyle Long. Chicago passed up Tyler Eifert, Manti Teo and Alec Ogletree. What I find intersting about this pick is I dont think to many people expected this pick. Kyle Long has Chicago ties a former White Sox draft pick. But I do belive it not a bad pick I just wish Chicago toke Tyler Eifert to give Jay Cutler more weapons. But clearly Marc Trestman was serious when he said he wants to protect the QB. Kyle Long son of Fall of famer Howie Long. He did play baseball and football so he is one hell of a athlete. Phil Emery with another surprise pick last year he shocked Chicago with Shea McCleain and now another shocker with Kyle Long. It is to early to tell wheather it a good or bad pick all I can say is Bear Down and if  Kyle helps us win a Superbowl no one will be complaining. Emery Who should we pick?

Eifert Ogletree or Teo?

Tyler Eifert TE Notre Dame

Alec Ogletree LB Georgia

Manti Teo LB Notre Dame

By Joseph Zalewski

Who should Chicago take at number 20 tomorrow night? That is a question alot of us fans have been asking since the end of the season. I think one of these 3 player are likely headed to our city. First up lets look at Tyler Eifert Notre Dame Tight End. This would be very intresting if Chicago takes him at 20 and if he is still on the board at 20. Eifert and Bennett would make a very intresting TE combination and give Chicago a two legit middle of the field threats. I believe Tyler will be gone at number 20 but if he's there take him he's is one of the best TE in the draft this year just look at the numbers. Tyler Eifert his Senior year with the Irish he had 50 receptions for 685 yards and 4 Touchdowns. This kid can definetly help Chicago who has been not to good on the offensive side of the ball. Now up Alec Ogletree LB Georgia Chicago has a huge need at LB with the lose of Nich Roach who went to Okland, and unable to resign Brain Urlacher. Alec Ogletree best way to describe his is a beast. Alec is 6'3 237 pounds and could definetly help Chicago at LB just look at the numbers. 112 Tackles 2 Sacks 1 Interceptions and 4 Passes Defended this guy is a beast. Alec Ogletree could be Chicago's 20th pick with ease. Look anyone who takes thats spot at LB has huge shoes to fill Chicago LB history is well documented. And last but not least Manti Teo LB Notre Dame in mayocks mock draft he had Chicago taking Teo. Teo is one hell of a player i am not gonna says hes not great he is. And i think he is a very good player but what worrys me about Teo is him being a distraction. Teo was the runner up to the Heisman when you have a year like Manti did you should be a ease top 10 pick. But then all the stuff with the fake girlfriend came out and his draft stock fell and he got a bunch of national media about his fake girlfriend. But either way Chicago has worked on TEo so lets look at the numbers. 103 tackles 1 sack 7 Interceptions and 4 passes defended. Listen if Chicago got him at 20 I would be inbetween about it cause i know we got one hell of a player but kinda mad about him being a distraction for a first time head coach. So who do you all see Chicago going with Eifert Ogletree or Teo? We will find out tomorrow the Draft is here Chicago Bear Down.

Chicago NFL Draft 2013

By Joseph Zalewski

The Chicago Bears are just days away from the 2013 NFL Draft. Chicago has the 20th, 50th, 117th, 153rd, and 188th pick this year. Notable Chicago has no 3rd round pick this year they traded it away to Miami for the trade with Brandon Marshall. that being said Chicago has the one of the fewest pick in the draft this year so every pick is going to have to count. Phil Emery has done a great job since becoming GM and I expect him to do what is best for Chicago when in reguards to the draft. Chicago like I said has the 20th pick in the first round. Chicago has needs a LB, OL and DL I could easily see Chicago taking anyone of those positions in the first round. But Emery has also said some teams have shown intrerest in trading Chicago for the 20th pick. I do think it is something worth considering since Chicago having one of fewest pick in this years draft. If the best player available does not fit a major need for Chicago i can see Chicago trading it to get more picks. Pick 50th i can see Chicago going any number of ways in round 2 WR, LB,OL,DL,CB,TE anyone of these are a possiablity for Chicago, has a need for WR with the retirement of Johnny Knox and Devin Hester going back to being a returner only. Linebacker with the lose of Brian Urlacher and Nick Roach Chicago has a need at Linebacker. Offensive Line Chicago has not protected Jay Cutler well at all and as Chicago attempts to build that new look line a Linemen is never a bad pick. Defensive Line Chicago lost a bit of there D-Line rotation its all about getting to the QB so getting someone who can pressure the QB is never a bad thing. Corner Back Tilman is getting old and in a division with Arron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford a cornerback could definitely help. TE I do hear Chicago might be intrested in the Tight End from Notre Dame, having two Tight ends who could catch and block would make Chicago a very hard team to defend kinda like the Patriots. Again no pick in round 3 cause of the trade for Brandon Marshall. Pick 117th 4th round Chicago i would think would go OL,DL,CB,DB,WR. In these later rounds you are look for those hidden gems. Chicago new linemen Bushrod was a hidden gem for New Orleans lets hope Phil Emery can find a few gems toward these last few rounds. Pick 153rd like i said hidden gems but go with what you need OL,DL,CB,DB,WR. Pick 153rd i would not mind going with a QB to back up Cutler maybe Jordan Rodger, Jay knows him well both went to vandy and Cutler helped him coming up and Joradn is jsut a great athlete and has a chip on his shoulder. Plus with Cutler being one hit away from retirement with all his concussions history its not a bad pick. Now only a few days before we welcome the newest Chicago Bears enjoy the draft everyone and BEARDOWN.

Chicago Bears 2013-2014 Schedule

2013-2014 Schedule Break Down

By Joseph Zalewski

The 2013-2014 schedule has been released and i am gonna break down every opponent for the Chicago Bears this season.

Week 1 Chicago opens up against Cincinnati Bengals, they were a playoff team last year and a very good test for the Chicago to start the season. They have a very good duo in Andy Dalton and AJ Green and there defence is decent to. Like i said this is gonna be a good early test for the Chicago and new head coach Marc Trestman. I see Chicago taking home the win first game at home and i think Chicago will be looking to make a statement early.

Week 2 Chicago will play host to NFC North Rival Minnesota Vikings, another team that was a playoff team last year. As any rivals do there is bad blood between these two teams this should be a very good game. And a very physical game especially when you are facing Adrian Peterson and Jared Allen I look for the Chicago to run the ball and take a bitt for revenge for losing to Minnesota late last year which ultimately cost Chicago a chance at the playoffs. I think Chicago wins this one close to start out 2-0 to start the season.

Week 3 Is very intersting Chicago goes to Pittsburg to play the Steelers. This is a very intersting game for more than a few reasons, one Pittsburg had a very difficult season last year. Big Ben was very different from past years fumbling the football throwing Interceptions its seemed like anything that could go wrong for Pittsburg did last year I think they are gone be more like the Pittsburg we have seen in the past but the lose of Mike Wallace is gonna be something they will need to overcome I see Chicago winning on the road to contine to a 3-0 record

Week 4 Chicago vists the Detriot Lions, they were a team that was not very good last year. They were bad Stafford throwing interceptions, the Defensive Line not getting to the QB, secondary got burned to much, the only bright spot was Calvin Johnson. Chicago and Detriot have had some very good battles over the past few years. But i see Chicago going into Detriot and winning when you have Tilman shuting down Johnson almost everytime is hard not to pick Chicago. I like Chicago to go 4-0 to start the season

Week 5 Chicago to play host to the New Orlean Saints, last year the Saints showed how much they missed Sean Payton. I think they are going to be the Saints of old this year. And are going to be a very hard test for Chicago even at home. I honestly do think the Saints come in and beat Chicago at home and end Chicago unbeaten streak to put Chicago at 4-1.

Week 6 Chicago to play host to the New York football Giants. The Giants were a huge dissapointment last year winning the Superbowl and not even making the playoffs last year. I think they got rid of a few player who made them good but thats what happens when you win a Superbowl you have to get rid of a few player like it or not. I think they will be very motivated this year and get back to getting to the QB and relaying on Eli Manning I think this one can honestly go either way but I see Chicago losing on a short week to to 4-2 on the season.

Week 7 Chicago goes up to Washington to play RG3 and the Redskins. Redskins shocked alot of people last year making the playoffs but the season could not have ended any worse then it did. Losing RG3 to injury in the playoff. RG3 is currently still rehabbing from injury and should be playing by week 7. I can honestly say just like the Giants this one can go either way but I see Chicago pulling it out on the road to go 5-2 on the season.

Week 8 Chicago has a bye middle of the season great time for the bye. Hopefully rest some guys who might be sore at this point in the season, and get ready for the rest of the season and hopefully the post season as well.

Week 9 Chicago travels up the Greenbay to play the Packers. This is a game every Chicago Bears fan circles every year. Last year Greenbay made the playoffs and won the NFC North. There are a very good team and the team to beat in the north. Chicago needs to win one there games against greenbay this year to even have a shot at winning the north. But saddly I think Chicago makes it close but loses on the road against the hated Greenbay Packers. To advance to 5-3 on the season.

Week 10 Chicago plays host to the Detriot Lions in the final game between these two teams this year, I think Chicago sweeps this series this year and wins both games against Detriot this season. Deriot needs to clean up the small thing but who knows detriot could be alot better but i still think Chicago is gonna be alot better Offensively, and wins to go to 6-3.

Week 11 Chicago plays host to last years Superbowl Champions the Baltimore Ravens. This team well like I just said won the Superbowl last year but have had cap room problem after signing Flacco to that huge contract. I think the Chicago at home is gonna win this one and advance to 7-3 on the season.

Week 12 Chicago goes up to St Louis to play the Rams. The Rams are going to be much improved this season, but i just dont think they can keep up with Chicago. I think Chicago comes in and wins a a very physical game to improve to 8-3 on the season.

Week 13 Chicago travels up to Minnesota to play the Vikings. I think this one is gonna be a even more physical game then the first time they meet this season. But I do think Minnestoa wins at home to tie Chicago in the season series. Chicago moves to 8-4 on the season.

Week 14 Chicago will play host to the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas missed the playoffs on the last game of the season again. Tony Romo just got a huge contract and better start playing like a franchise QB or Dallas might just run him out of town. These two teams have played the last few years Chicago won both games and i dont see that changing. Chicago wins to improve to 9-4 on the season.

Week 15 Chicago travels up to Cleveland to play the Browns. The Browns are gonna be better this season but still not a match for Chicago. I think Chicago wins this one to improve to 10-4 on the season.

Week 16 Chicago travels to Philadelphia to play the Eagles. The Eagles have new head coach Chip kelly and will be much improved but i think Chicago wins this one they have won against the eagles the last few year and i see that trend continuing. Chicago moves to 11-4 on the season.

Week 17 Chicago host Greenbay in the last game of the season. I think Chicago goes into the post season with a win over the packers to win the NFC North. I think Chicago can not lose this game they need to win one of the games against Greenbay and i think they win on the last game of the season to win the divison and finish the season at a record of 12-4

Bears Should Avoid Manti Teo

By Joseph Zalewski
Bears Should Avoid Manti Teo

Manti Teo Linebacker Notre Dame this is a name by this point everyone in the sports world has heard of Teo at one point of another. Teo had one hell of year for the Irish resulting in a undefeated season and a apperance for the Irish at the BCS title game. Then all the stuff about Manti Teos imaginary girlfriend came out. Leading me to question is that why he missed so many tackle and plays during the Championship game. But in any case when it comes to Teo and the Bears who have the number 20 pick in the upcoming draft. I think the Chicago should avoid Teo. One reason why Chicago and Teo should avoid each other is simple distraction. Yes distraction Teo with all the stuff about his girlfriend is gonna be a huge distraction to what ever team drafts him. Futhermore at this point drafting Teo would be like drafting Tim Tebow ask the jets how well that went. Plus with a first year head coach in Marc Trestman Chicago must avoid distractions and focus on winning games. Not only is Teo going to be a distraction, but there are also questions about his mental focus. If Teo was dealing with the hoax during the title game, and played badly cause of it I have questions about his metal focus. In the NFL you will be dealing with alot more then that on a regular bacis. Plus Teo and chicago are bad fits for each other, Chicago is trying to replace a legend and futrue Hall of Famers Brian Urlacher. Urlacher has been the face of the team for the last decade. Teo coming in trying to replace Urlacher is a bad fit for both sides. So Chicago when number 20 comes up on draft day stay away from Manti Teo!!!!!
